For many of us, our lives have been turned upside down in the course of a week
So… We can’t go out, but we all have a little extra time on our (thoroughly washed) hands. How can we stay connected to the games and community that we love so much? The team at TableTop Game and Hobby (TTGH) have you covered with easy suggestions, along with dedicated forums for community support to keep the dice rolling even when your group can’t meet in person.

For TTRPG enthusiasts (Tabletop Roleplaying Games, for those of you newer to hobby), we are deploying new options for our GMs (Game Masters) to run games online via Virtual Table Tops (VTTs.) We have set up a Facebook LFG page (Looking For Group, for the uninitiated) where you can list games you’re running, get help running games, and help you find the right party to join.
Players will be able to find new games to join, or with a little coordination, run their home groups using TableTop’s assistance! After linking up with our GMs (or your home group) you can jump into exciting otherworldly adventures from the comfort of your home, keeping your stories alive and our community thriving.
If you have experience running games online via VTTRPG sites and want to be a part of our GM team, please join the TableTop Game and Hobby GMs group! We’re looking for people to run games, moderate our servers and groups, write blog content, and teach workshops on gaming in general and on gaming online.
To keep connected and coordinate your games, check out our brand new Discord server! Discord is a great tool to help keep current on TTGH goings-on and join the conversation about our games, including how to set them up and run them for your own home group! Once you join the server, check the #general and #looking-for-a-game chat channels, or the General voice channel to see who is on, ask questions, or look for a game.

Once you’re up and running, keep us posted on your progress by sharing what you’re working on at TableTop Game and Hobby’s Hobby at Home site. Here you can show us the awesome projects you’re working on, whether it’s painting, photography, writing, pics of your game group, epic gaming moments, fabric and needlecraft, cosplay, or anything else creative you’ve got going on. You can also tag Tabletop #TTGAH or use the tag #HobbyAtHome through your regular social media outlets.
We’d also like to remind everyone that while the shop is closed, we are working on our online store and shipping. We will continue to adjust with the times and work to provide you with all your nerdy needs!
Game On!
