Why You Should Play Killteam

Why You Should Play Killteam

Why You Should Play Killteam

June 28, 2023 Posted by Chase Davis Game Review

Killteam is a skirmish miniatures game set in the girmdark future of Warhammer 40k. In it, small elite squads of operatives wage covert battles against the other major players in the galaxy. Killteam has deep combat tactics, but on a more personal level.

The best part about this game is that it uses the same models as Warhammer 40k, but require less models to play. So those who already play 40k can take the models from their army and play or new players can grab a just a squad of their favorite faction and jump in.

One aspect many players; including myself, love about this game is its tactical, strategic, and interacting gameplay. When firing at or fighting our opponent’s operatives both players roll against each other. Moving models is also something that your opponent can react to. This results in a robust, quick playing, easy entry miniatures game that has the tactical depth of what you want to see in larger miniatures game, but in a much smaller package.
