Sometimes looking back is scary seeing where we came from. Other times is silly as hell. I have recently gotten my grubby mitts on the old grand alliance books from 1st edition as well as the 1st General’s Handbook and the 2017 GHB. They are not only fun to flip through and see how much the game has changed over the years, but it got me thinking. Why not take these old scrolls out for a spin all just for shiggles? So in the façade of a “Tournament” we’ll have a fun day of messing around with these old rules.

Whatever you want to bring we can make it work. Whenever you sign up shoot me a message on Discord (Dragoar The Dwarf) I’ll send you the points and warscrolls you are able to use. If you are wanting to use armies that weren’t included in the Grand Alliance books because they didn’t exist yet or didn’t have a battletome already I can do some digging or figure something out so you can use your models. I will however also be bringing some loaner armies for the event since there is probably a number of people that don’t have older models that coorilate to the fantasy armies entirely (Bonereapers, idoneth, a number of chaos mortals, newer chambers of stormcast, etc.). If you want to bring a old Fantasy Army still on squares no problem, Brettonia and Tomb King welcome.

We will have Prizes for the “Top” Generals of Each Grand Alliance as well door prizes as all the tickets all go into the pool. The goal is to just have fun with this snapshot of the past.
