Mini Painting 102 With Bob!

Miniature Painting 102 – Using Contrast Colors Paints is a beginner level painting course.
Note: While it is not required to take Miniature Painting 101 – Introduction to Mini Painting, we encourage students to consider taking Miniature Painting 101 – Introduction to Mini Painting first for the best results, especially if they are new to miniature painting or have little experience in the hobby.
In this course, students will learn techniques that will continue to improve their painting skills and build on the basic techniques taught in Miniature Painting 101 – Introduction to Mini Painting.
Understanding Contrast Paints versus “Normal Paints” – Students will be shown the basic differences between normal hobby paints and the Contrast Paint line by GW
Understand how Contrast Paints “behave” for “layer painting” – Students will observe the behaviors of Contrast Colors and Normal paints and learn use this behavior to their advantage to speed up the painting of “layers”
Using Contrast Colors to paint a model – Students will learn how to observe contrast paints in relationship to lessons taught in Painting 101, and how to “correct mistakes”. Students will use only contrast paints and a “Normal White Paint” to paint a model
This course lasts 3 hours. Students are encouraged to ask questions and receive feedback, which will sometimes cause the course to run over time.
Students are expected to bring brushes.

Students will finish Miniature Painting 102 – Using Contrast Colors with a deeper understanding and appreciation of how Contrast Colors work, and how to use contrast colors to help speed up their painting of models. Every student will leave the class with a fully painted model by using predominantly contrast colors and one normal paint. Students upon completion of this class will be able to apply the skills learned in Miniature Painting 101 – Introduction to Mini Painting and
Miniature Painting 102 – Using Contrast Colors Paints to add another way to paint models and expand their miniature painting skills
This course costs ($20)
Students under the age of 13 will not be admitted to this class. No Exceptions!

Students must arrive and be ready to paint within the first 25 minutes of class start time. Arrivals after this time will not be seated and will forfeit their ticket with no refund.
This course is finely timed (drying time, instruction, etc.) and this policy has been put into place due to previous class disruptions, which can affect the experience for all the students. Thank you for your cooperation.
