Miniature Painting 102 – Using Contrast Colors Paints is a beginner level painting course.

In this course, students will learn techniques that will continue to improve their painting skills and build on the basic techniques taught in Miniature Painting 101 – Introduction to Mini Painting.

These include:

Understanding Contrast Paints versus “Normal Paints” – Students will be shown the basic differences between normal hobby paints and the Contrast Paint line by GW

Understand how Contrast Paints “behave” for “layer painting” – Students will observe the behaviors of Contrast Colors and Normal paints and learn to use this behavior to their advantage to speed up the painting of “layers”

Using Contrast Colors to paint a model – Students will learn how to observe contrast paints in relationship to lessons taught in Painting 101, and how to “correct mistakes”. Students will use only contrast paints and a “Normal White Paint” to paint a model

Students are expected to bring brushes.

This course costs $20

The class must have around 50% attendance to hold and not be canceled.

48 hours before the event starts, a convenience fee will be added to the ticket. Ordering in advance helps our instructor better prepare for the class.

Students under the age of 13 will not be admitted to this class. No Exceptions!

No outside food or drink allowed. Coffee, drinks, and food available at Cardboard Corner Cafe

*Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Refunds are available up to 24 hours before the class start time. Emergency refunds are available after the 24 hour period, per the discretion of the instructor. Please email events@tabletopgameandhobby.com to request a refund.

Students must arrive and be ready to paint within the first 25 minutes of class start time. Arrivals after this time will not be seated and will forfeit their ticket with no refund.

This course is finely timed and this policy has been put into place to avoid class disruptions. Thank you for your cooperation.
